The middle class includes a social group of people, as a rule, with higher education, who are engaged in intellectual work, have a constant high income and at the same time are not poor and not exclusively rich. These are mainly middle and top managers, lawyers, financiers, highly qualified doctors and teachers of prestigious universities.

Location

However, not everyone likes to live in the city, many prefer the green suburbs of London. Such areas include Richmond, Surrey, Wembley, Kingston, Waltomstow, Epping. The road to London from these localities by train or car takes from 30 minutes to an hour and a bit and can cost a little more than moving within the boundaries of the first and third transport zones. This is a minus, and a plus is life outside a noisy city, among picturesque English nature, and, most likely, a garden, which, in the view of many Britons, is an indispensable supplement to housing.

In terms of cost, such housing on the outskirts of London is comparable to London: in some areas it is 20–30% less for similar facilities, and in areas such as Richmond and Kingsley, it may be, on the contrary, higher. However, if the distance from the city center is uncritical for the future owner and he appreciates life in the green zone, then definitely this choice would be better value for money – the best value for money.
Types of houses
It is possible to conditionally divide the types of housing in the UK into apartments in apartment buildings and own houses. Both those, and others can be both historical, and new constructions.

In new apartment buildings, housing is offered from studios to apartments with three bedrooms (more found only in the premium segment). Living room is available in each apartment, except for studios; as a rule, it is combined with the kitchen. Most apartments are built with balconies.

Due to the relatively warm weather in London, the balconies are always open and often have a transparent glass fence. As a result, in most residential complexes of the comfort class, not to mention the elite ones, it is forbidden to store things and dry clothes on the balcony. Londoners, as a rule, do not violate this ban: they use balconies for pleasant gatherings, decorate with flowers and decorate with terrace tables and sun loungers. But with the observance of the ban on smoking on the balconies is not all smooth.
